This is a moderated phorum for the CIVILIZED discussion of the Miami Dolphins. In this phorum, there are rules and moderators to make sure you abide by the rules. The moderators for this phorum are JC and Colonel.
And, of course, there is that nasty stat that points out the Dolphins haven’t won a September home game (0-7) since the indoor practice bubble was opened in Davie.
Ok so maybe we dont need a bubble?
And, what about those Orange Bowl days? Many people believe that the team lost a big chunk of its home field advantage when it moved the couple dozen miles north from Little Havana in 1987.

The funny thing is historically there have been those teams that lingered just out of the playoffs for years (New Orleans, Detroit, Tampa Bay, St Louis Cardinals). For years these teams never quite put together the right talent, but they also rarely had a top-3 pick...so they just sat there in the middle.
Then there were other teams that were great...then got bad and eventually hit rock bottom (Dallas, NE) and got high draft picks. These teams ultimately emerged strong. I really wish WE could follow that trend. WE hit rock bottom TWICE since Shula...which netted us the #2 (Ronnie Brown) and #1 (Jake Long) picks. Unfortunately, we're finding ourselves floundering like the first group.
