Trade those first two losses for wins and now you're talkin'.

so we lose the first game against the jets and win the last game of the season against them.....

If we throw their faces out of the playoffs on that last game i take a 1-1 record against them.

I am guessing that if we are 3-5 at mid-season, Tony's future will not be in Miami, no matter what happens in the second half of the season.

do you mean you think they'd fire him midseason at 3-5? I don't think there's any chance of that. If we go 1-9 or something, they may let him go and let Nolan take over as interim coach. But it would need to be that bad.

I was just being realistic, our record against the Texans is horrific...and the Pats are sure going to be tough to beat. I hope we win, I'll be wearing my Aqua and Orange gear on Monday for sure.

We cant beat the Texans. Just chalk that game up as a loss.

Lets see what happens with Arien Foster and how well our defense and offense plays before I am personally ready to chalk up any game as a lost at this point.

KC deserves their props just like anybody else in the NFL.

KC last year was us in 2008. Big record based on teams over looking them and a horrible schedule. They will fall back to earth, I think they will be no better than 7-9 this year, possibly much worse

I hope we beat NE Monday night as this smack talk at work has already started. I rather see Miami as a 1-15 team than a 9-7 and get a new QB next year if we start out slow (like 4 losses in a row...which could happen)

loser mentality!

If we are 1-15...we have taken huge steps backward and will be worse off in 2012 than we are now....you actually want to rebuild??? again????

That also means that our promising young players....the entire defense have regressed.

Screw that!

Interestingly, they're getting their butts handed to them right now, by Buffalo. 20-0 in the first half; I didn't see that coming.

KC might be junk, but we always lose to some junk team right in mid season...ever since Shula was shown the door.. Tell me that's not true, long time fans?

You can count me in for having a loser mentality as well.

I'm finished settling for mediocre seasons with a mediocre QB and always being an underdog.

The only way this team will ever be great again is with a franchise QB leading it. And the only way this team will ever have the opportunity to draft a top tier QB in the 1st round is if it sucks for a season.

I'm willing to sacrifice winning now in order to have a better team in the future. Whoever gets to draft Luck next year will have the prize of the draft and be set at QB for years to come.

At this point in time I compare Henne to Jason Campbell, and trust me, Jason Campbell will never lead any team to a Super Bowl.

Okay people, my flame suit is on, go ahead and flame away!spinning smiley sticking its tongue out
