Jake Long is a stud left tackle, and we will need all his talents to pull a huge upset on Monday night. It will only happen if Cameron Wake, Jason Taylor, and Koa Misi pull some whoop a$$ out of their trick bags and make Monday night a memorable(and miserable) outing for Tom Brady.

The only thing im worry about is the OL wont be in sync to start the game. And i hope they get it together by halftime.

Sparano said long has had 200 reps in practice so i believe he will not struggle as much as i thought he would.

We need every little advantage over NE. They are a much more polished and veteran team.

Not on defense they aren't. Our left side should be pretty nasty with Incog and Long.

Long will erase Andre Carter who is an undersized RDE. Incog and Pouncey on Wilfork but they have been going against Solia so they should be good.

Reggie Bush off LT.

Yeah willfork is going to take a couple of guys.....

Our defense is going to keep us in the game. Their CBs are suspect so bess and marshall hartline should do well as long as the OL can give henne some time.

I have a feeling our rookie speedy receiver whats his name is going to have a big game.

I am betting that Pouncy, Gates and Thomas have a great night (even with a tweeked hammy).

Thomas may not even play, so you can probably forget about that.

I'm looking for steady and consistent play from Pouncy at this point. I'm not expecting anything spectacular from the center positon.

As for Gates, if he catches just ONE long pass in the 1st quarter, I'll be happy. A pass like that will immediately open up the middle of the field for Marshall and Bush. All Gates would have to do at that point is run fly patterns and draw double coverage.

if gates draws double coverages marshall will have a field day pro bowl game guaranteed.

I think Pouncey can handle WIlfork most plays on his own when they need him to do it. Or they will just move fast and pull alot away, and create a pile on the line scrimmage.

Well now matt Ryan who? Yep Jake Long was deffinatly the answer. You cannot be a true Miami fan, and not love Long, he will probably make the pro-bowl every year he starts.

He punish's most players in the league and he is one hell of a model American.

This American Bud is for you Long.smileys with beer

If you're talking about pot, okay, but don't send any secondhand fumes his way--you know how the NFL is with drug tests these days.

If you're referring to beer, Budweiser/Anheuser Busch is now owned by a Belgian company.

What I like about Long the most, is he had serious shoulder injury and toughed out the season and still finished with top LT stats. That is money... The guy is tough and his stength is the life blood of this team. A role he gladly accepts and wears with a solemn responsbilty & Honor.

Who cares about beer....

ALCOHOL PEOPLE ALCOHOL AND ORANGEJUICE>>>>AKA SCREWDRIVER....thats where the buzz is.

As far as jake long.............I wouldnt trade this pick if we had a chance to do it all over again for the world...BUT.

I understand where others were coming from...regarding matt ryan and the oportunity to have a pro bowl QB instead of a pro bowl tackle.

But again im happy with what we got....

They even said something on inside the nfl yesterday about long been a candidate for the pro bowl hall of fame......they were talking about potential..

Just build the OL around long and we will be ok. Im still waiting for sparano the EX Cowboys Oline coach to make it happen. He hasn't yet.
