Dobbins had 1.7 million contract, and probably a little dead money from a signing bonus.. Carey is not at practice at the stadium, team says he was given a personal night off by Coach Sparano.. People are suggesting he was asked to redo his deal earlier, now he doesnt show up to practice... Stay tuned on the Carey situation...

Either way we are clearing cap room for something. I believe Ohara is gonna sign but who esle could it be?

Woul be nice if we signed Waters and O'hara and made a serious O-line competition.

The FO must have been listening to me. Lol.

Not surprised at all. He was overpaid and didn't live up to contract.

Our front seven is awesome.

OLB Misi, Wake, Taylor, Trusnik and IAF
ILB Dansby, Burnette, Edds and Spitler

We also have Ron Fields as an upgraded backup to Soliai who played well for Nolan in Denver.

Might be the best and deepest front 7 in football.

I would not be surprised to see more competition brought in for ILB and OLB.

This guy was worthless. I remember reading a Kacey Joyner article and statistically speaking, he was the worst coverage linebacker in the NFL. He was burned just about every time he was asked to cover somebody.

Speaking of OLB depth, I'm really intrigued with and rather excited about Ikaika Alama-Francis. He's listed at 290 but doesn't look it at all. The guy is seriously cut and can REALLY move well. I thought he played well last year in the limited action he saw and I was watching him at practice tonight at the stadium and he looked fierce out there. The guys a handful when rushing the passer. I'm looking for him to have a real impact this year.

Glad to hear IAF looks good, I also think he has potential. OLB situation is looking pretty good. MLB as well. Does anyone know how Edds is looking? I heard he came back in great shape. Also think Spitler could stick around.

Edds look good, he surpassed Dobbins and was getting snaps next to Dansby with the first team, before Burnett could play.
