Devine is avail. Good explosive kick return weapon, worth a tryout

I think between, Gates, Carroll, Bess, and Bush, we have that position covered, We need tacklers on ST coverage, is the only place I think they would sign a guy just for ST.

I definitely would not have Bush return punts under any circumstance.

Devine is awfully small, and unproven as a pro. The RB market still has a lot of talent with Jason Snelling, Jerome Harrison, Jerious Norwood, Mike Hart, Cadillack Williams, Ronnie, Ricky, Brian Westbrook, Kevin Smith, Julius Jones, Mewelde Moore, Ladell Betts, Laurence Mauroney, etc.

Why did he leave the team? Character issues?

Harrison may have the least mileage. Like Michael Bush and Mike Tolbert

Devine is small but so was Sproles & Jacoby ford, and he has some crazy moves. Worth a look.

none of our returners looked that good last year

That is a key question, why did Devine leave the Eagles after just 3 days?

And we do not need that.

The funny thing is that other than 2008, Bush has been lousy at returning punts. His career average is just 7.8 yards per return. Take away 2008, and it's just 6.2 yards per return.
