here is the money quote from the article, which sickens me. We better not give up a first rounder for this guy. Who the hell is he that the Eagles can think they are entitled to a 1st rounder for him, let alone "more" than that? If we deal for Kolb and give anything more than a 3d (which I recognize wouldn't be enough) I will be so pissed at the team I may have to boycott.

In his report, Zobel states that “the Dolphins could be willing to part ways with their 2012 first round pick in order to secure Kolb, who they hope would give them stability at the quarterback position, something that they have lacked for close to a decade“.

This makes sense to me. Before that Miami Herald report, I thought the Dolphins would, or perhaps should, be one of the teams that should go after Kolb. But they’ll have to do more than “could be willing to give up their first rounder” to land him.

I'd be worried if the report came from a legitimate source, but it's just internet "psuedo" news. The report claims that Seattle offered a 1st and 3rd for Kolb before the draft. Well, since no trading of players is allowed during the lockout, how did this happen? And there was no one who thought that trades would be allowed prior to or during the draft, so it's garbage. And it's pretty much widely assumed by the more reliable NFL sources that the Cardinals are the #1 suitor for Kolb.

Doesn't fit the criteria...."you have to know what you're getting".

He is no better than Henne IMO and way to expensive.

This is similiar to a bleacher report.

Take this stuff with a grain of salt.

thumbs up

Ive been on. Reading the post daily...its just that all the posts seem to be repeats of all this lockout crap in a vicious circle of life on an internet chat board that has become a little too much for me to really comment on any more, without the real possibility of beating that dead horse until his bones are turned into sand.

Though again, I do read all posts, it really makes little sense to really engage until this thing is all over and we can really get into "football discussion".

In the meantime, I have almost entirely devoted my time to MMA forums and Black Ops on PS3.

BTW...if anybody wants to hook up on Black Ops, just PM me and we will exchange screen names.
