Just as I suspected. The last 3 draft picks don't even count. Why the heck didn't we grab McElroy as well??!!
You know, one does not judge a draft ONLY by who you picked.
A draft is judged as a whole including who you passed on, meaning who you COULD HAVE picked in place of who you did pick.
You then compare the two groups.
The problem with listening to draft analysists after the fact is that they can only of necessity deal with who you picked.
For those who don't understand what I am saying, supposed we had drafted Ingram and Mallet and drafted respectable OL help and gotten most of our other picks in later rounds (which I believe we could have).
