boy it is quiet on this site in terms of draft excitment. I get the sense there is no player anyone *really* wants us to get, and no sense that the FO will pick the right guy anyway. maybe it is just the uncertainty with the labor situtation. but I've never seen this place so quiet a few days up till the draft!

I still plan on installing myself on the couch 8pm thurs night, pulling for a trade down to get a second rounder, and hoping with that lower 1st rounder we get a top OL, Ingram, a top 10 defender who fell somehow, or even Mallett.

I agree. It's as if, many are thinking, "it doesn't matter...whomever we select will not make any difference."
