No..........How about drafting OL or Rb or receiver....I dont mind we sucking another year as long as we can grab luck...YUP im sick and i have a cold...
We aint going nowhere next year or the next.
Im tired of this phins team been just barely good enough to not make playoffs and drafting in the 20 spot range in the first round..
Happened for ever when dan marino was here.
Again we have to suck for a few years in order for us to get to the next level.
Why bother with this guy? He would be the perfect TE, and at 15 heck yeah, but as a project qb at 15 is a waisted pick.
I don't understand all the fuss about a guy who lacks the essential qb skill set, to the point where people still think he is going to be the next best thing since sliced bread?
Stop it, I went through that crap with White, your going through "it" with Newton.
Just saying no need to be all worked up over this guy, he's no Payton Manning as somone once quoted.
I think we need to draft a QB in the 1st rd, until we have our guy for sure. Glabbert, Newton. Newton I dont think is as much of a project as people think, he can be successfull in the NFL. His playbook just might be a little limited at first, but I am not sure you can stop the guy from moving the sticks.
I am unsure about Mallett. I see alot of what people say about comparing him to Henne. But obviously ones success or failure is not tied to the other, for all we know, Mallet could be a faster developing Chad Henne, and we will have 2 studs on our roster by the end of next year. I got 2(Newton, Glabbert), I am in for or a 3rd (Mallett)if the the coaches see it...

Amen, give me a guy who is a traditional passer, one that is smart, and can make all the throws.
Teams have running backs for a reason. They have wr's and TE's for a reason. I want the best out there handing it off, or throwing it to the open man.
There is always the next great qb, its the way the world works, sure there will never be another Manning, but there will be somone who is alot like him, maybe even better.
I guaranteee 1k percent that Newton won't be that guy.
Its ok Im also 100 percent sure we won't be drafting him, so Im ok and smiling because the question you asked on this one is irrelevant to this team.
Feel free to keep a watch on him on whatever sucker team he sign's with.
I vote for Ireland to draft the right qb for once who is a playmaker....he must be able to make ALL the throws and if he can run...all the better. Yes to Gabbert or Newton.

Wear and tear on most valuable position on the field.

and an example is?
It all depends on how you run it. I think the run and shoot or run and gun, have morphed into the NFL's version of the spread. But the run n gun and NFl spread, have alot of the same philosophies, Spreading the defense out creating wider running lanes and forcing the defense to go smaller. The difference between the 2 IMO, is one uses the TE's / fullback and the other really doesnt.

RESPONSE: Well use "dumb" then. "Mentally slow" makes it seem like you are making fun of the developmentally disabled. I know you would not do that but you might encourage people like TreasureCoastPhin.
Alllrighty then, you want this guy right. Well here is proof that he is a bum.
He is 18 credits short of his degree, and if there is a work stoppage he will attain the 18 credits online lol.. Geesh, 4 years or so at school and can't get the degree before you go pro tells me ALL I need to know about your character, especially since youve been busted a couple times for cheating and such.

Wonderlics not sh*t Jim Kelly, Dan Marino and Bradshaw all had below average scores. Why can you not let this thing play out. You will either be right 'hooray' or wrong 'hooray'. Cam's list of accomplishments will still be longer than your unless of course you are actually Peyton Manning, wo also by the way if me memory is correct had a below avg wonderlic score.
