Should we take Stanzi

From Mel Kiper it seems that Stanzi is the only quarterback with positives in every area, accuracy, velocity of passes, mobility, brains, pocket presence and ability to think and make good decisions on the run. Now this is NOT to say that Mel said he was the best in all those categories but that he, unlike all of the other quarterbacks, Newton, Locker, Mallett, Gabbert, had no appreciable deficiency in any category.

So should we take him at 15, lower rounds, or not at all.

I like him at lower rounds, if we cannot get Mallett at 15.

In what I've seen, he still looks slow and not very accurate. He also didn't have to deal with a lot of pressure playing behind a big O-Line. I think Stanzi will be a bust where-ever he's taken.

Don't sound wierd. Sounds like you think we REALLY need a quarterback.

IF we were to go with quarterback this year (your plan not mine), I agree completely with taking a flyer in the late rounds on a project QB also, of course, unless I misread you and you were being sarcastic.

So do you agree that if we go for QB, we pick one high one and one low one ALSO?

I think that way. (that is assuming we consider QB a high enough priority to get one in the first round.) It makes more sense to make sure.

woah---based on this poll it is plausible that the phins would draft this guy in the 1st round? He's a 4th rounder at best from all accounts.
