Sims-Walker is a talented WR, but misses a lot of games and disappears in a lot of games he plays in.
In 2010, he had 2 games with over 100 yards receiving, one of which was over 150 yards receiving. However, in the other 12 games in which he played, Sims-Walker did not go over 50 yards receiving once.
He is a high risk / high reward type of FA. I don't think that is what this team needs. We need to bring in low risk FAs. We've had enough guys who come in and underperform. Let's not risk that again.
Players getting cut are often done so for a reason. A sub 4.4 guy is always worth a look but the knock on him is that he is good against zone but not man coverage and is not a team player. There are two sides to every story...was it him or just a bad mesh of personalities with certain coaches?
