Incognito resigned for 3 yrs and they tendered Nate Garner and plan on him starting. Good news or no?

Incognito was part of the problem. If he is re-signed to play RG, then I'm ok with it. If they play on playing him at LG or C, then it's a mistake. Incognito does not have the ability to pull effectively from the LG position, which is a major requirement. The RG doesn't do it as much, and that's where Incognito has played his whole career. He was not effective in his 2 games at Center.

Garner was a very effective pass blocker in 2009, but his run blocking was not impressive.

I like both these guys, whether it be as starters or for depth.

Who know's I like em both, but I would rather have Incognito at center, move Berger over to left guard, draft two more guards, and use our first pick on a awsome LT, and move him to right.

I would try to trade Carey, but prob cut him, just because no one would prob want to give up a pick for the guy.

I'd do most of that EXCEPT draft a LT in the 1st round. Don't we already have the best LT in the game?

Yes but the best LT we can get, usually translate's into a AWSOME RT, because it is easier no?????

Im not 100 percent sure, but that was my philosophy.

I'm not entire sure. That change never really worked for Carey when he was actually good.

I think Nate Garner was great for us, and we missed him last year. Incgognit is good depth, hopefull Jerry steps up, and we draft a center and or stud guard. Having Incognito on the team is not bad but you dont want him as you LG as DolfanMark said. In another words if Incognito is the weakest guy on the line, we are good, is he is one of the tops we are in trouble...

If I recall correctly, it wouldn't be wise financially to cut Carey.

I don't recall the specifics at the time, but there was an article that addressed this. Perhaps it is irrelavant now with these circumstances. I am admittedly not sure and don't care to research it.
