Rodgers.

I have been saying this for years. People bash us for not taking Matt Ryan, but I have said 1,000 times....it was Aaron Rodgers we made the mistake on.

Hats off to the Packers. Seems nobody could stop a simple slot receiver in route though, whats up with that? Rodgers was DEADLY inside the 20. Dang to have a QB who can do that again. The Packers got hot at the right time, thats for sure.

When is the last time before this year that we beat the superbowl champion in the regular season?

Pats maybe?

Why do you all feel the need to cry over every guy we've ever passed on who puts up a good performance?

"WAH WAH WAH WAH, we passed on THIS guy. WAH WAH WAH WAH we could have had THAT guy. WAH WAH WAH WAH what is HINDSIGHT and what does it mean that it's 20/20?"

Rodgers didn't become a regular starter until his fourth season. Do you know what that means? It means about 95% of you would have been labeling him a bust/gethimthehelloutofhere/hesucks before he'd made it half that far with the Dolphins.

But yeah, it'd have been great if we'd drafted him. I'm so glad to see him get the ring for the Pack, thus erasing anyone else's doubt who second guessed THAT organization for doing what they did.

One thing he showed last night, which is very important. He projected no anxiety during the game. Mentally he took it as if just another game. On the contrary the just lucky but not good QB on the other side was all nerves and it was clear.

Maybe he was all nerves because he got popped real good a few times. I didnt see the entire game the times i saw the game ben got popped hard including a blow to the chest from some packer hog. Harsh blow too. put him on the ground...

He played behind Favre. If Henne was playing behind Marino for 4 years, we wouldn't be harping on him the way we are.

Agree Monte, I almost said the same thing.

That is like knocking Thurman Thomas for not starting at Oklahoma St. when Barry Sanders was the starter.

I am confused, I'm not sure I know who is saying what.

I agree with JC to the extent that Aaron Rodgers was drafted originally designed to replace Favre at some point.

I believe JC is saying that with this impatient crowd of Dolphin fans, particularly on this board, even though Favre was playing, many would be saying, "Why are we paying this Guy? What has he shown? Let's get rid of him."

However, if the comeback is "the difference is that GB had Favre" then the comeback is also the answer. That is that while Rodgers had the luxury of sitting back and being an understudy, Henne had to be thrown into the fire early both because of Pennington's injuries and because Pennington was no Bret Favre.

Who gives a poopies, congrats Rodger's, however we beat that ass eariler this year, and we will do it again.

Where comming baby, should be our response, not Oh man I want his jock strap!

F him, and the PACKERS, and the other 30 NFL teams. All I want is my turn to root for my team in the SB, not some other fan's team, wishing I had there QB, no no, I want to root for my QB, which ever we get.

That, and when Rodgers went 6-10 in his first season as a starter, with Favre posting 13-3 the year before--there'd be lots of OMG-Rodgers-sucks-our-front-office-is-stupid-we-should-have-never-let-Favre-go going on, if our fans were up there in Green Bay. Not singling out this board, but all message boards, talk radio, etc.

Would Rodgers have survived in Miami posting a 6-10 record if his predecessor posted 13-3 the year before, then posted a winning record elsewhere? Would the stands be empty? Would the coaching regime have been run out of town for choosing him?

QUOTE MIA1....Well then again, when most of your population, can catch a raft too Miami, then I guess could have alot to do with the Dolphins, seeing how many Cuban's live in south Fla running from there problems, instead of fighting back, they would rather rubber back it lol..

I did not know you had something against cubans....But now i know....I always knew what you were about.

I guess i was right about you all along. YOU are a moron and a racist afterall.
