I will pay you a 100 dollars if we take Mike Pouncey with a pick under 20.. I am not sure he will even play center next year in the NFL..I would be really surprised if he went in the first rd.
I like the effort though, dont let my negative reaction about Pouncey dissaude you. I got respect for your opinion and I know you are high on him. And for all I know you might be right...
I like your trade down scenario is defintely interesting. WHo is it that San Diego would take with 15 and willing to move up for....
I think we move up or down to take a QB, if not maybe Mark Ingrahm...
I need to see some more of the Senior bowl before I can do a draft as deep as yours..
If Glabbert falls I think we would trade up to get him... IF not Newton or Ingrahm..

come on bro, you don't get a 2d rounder for dropping down 3 spots in the first. not even Rick (4th rounder to move up 1 spot for the right to pass on Vince Wilfork and take V Carey) is that dumb

Oh my! It's mock time already.

I better start doing some research. I think that getting the best center in the draft could very well be a priority.

We are definitely going to add some speed this time around.

the trade down and get lots of 2d tier players has worked really well for us in the past. also mallet is going in the 1st.

I am really worried we trade our 1st for Kolb.

with all of the talk from Ireland at the SR Bowl practice, being happy with Henne and they need to just develop a system that fits Henne. Makes me think even more, that we go after a QB, Ireland loves the deception tactics pre draft..

Next, If we trade Kolb for our 1st rd pick I might kill myself...Just kidding.. but I would be very football depressed..

Finally the Center position? Why dont you guys like the Center from Penn state? And Phinsfan2 why do you like O'Dowd?

And again, from what I have read most people see Pouncey playing guard next year..Sparano might like him for his versatility, he is a beast at guard, with the potential to be a center down the road possibly.. Just not sure he would go until the earliest would be 28 to 32 and that is a reach IMO. But with his size and legacy you just never know.

trading our #1 for kolb could be the last straw

from what I hear (from some on this board and elsewhere) m pouncy is not nearly as good as his bro. his bro went in the 20s. so why take this guy at 15? stud Cs usually go in the 20s at best. pass on one at 15.

go all in for L mankins though

Pouncey might not be the best center but he could be as good as Logan Mankins at guard... Seriously...
not right now but has the potential

Phinsfans-
I like your idea of trading with New England for 28 and 33. And then maybe picking up Newton and Pouncey and then pick up ODowd with our 3rd rd pick. Just with those 3 picks, we would solidify the interior, renew some optimism and Ross would get some butts in the seat.

phinsfan2,

i like the mock for the most part. i agree with taking a qb if he falls to 28. I would prefer newton or locker but mallet is good value at 28. also i love odowd, he looks like hes gonna be a great center in the NFL. Good choices on the two RBs. Also I really like Titus Young, he could be a great complement to our current receiver corps. Haven't heard much about Jeremey Beal, why do you like him? Not a fan of DJ Williams, I would rather draft a different TE. Not sure who but I think Williams will be more of a blocker than a receiver, not exactly what we are looking for. Also he is short.

HAHAHA....you know that pick was not for me. It was totally for you. I knew you couldnt resist taking Ryan. But it is cool, and if we do pick Ryan I would be happy and hope he would lead us to a Superbowl.

I dont care what you guys say....my draft is beastly!

I addressed needs *ALL* over the offensive side, while adding Crowders replacement (sorry Crowder52), and adding depth behind Yeremiah Bell.

HAHAHA....honestly Phinsfan, I would be totally happy and content with Mallett at #15 if Ireland believes he is the answer.

I like Mallett, I like Gabbert, I like Newton, and I dont really care for Locker.

Ricky Stanzi is my sleeper QB....I think he might be the real deal and one day, might go down as the best in this draft.

Ricky Stanzi is hands down a better leader than any QB coming out this year. Intangibles like Stanzi has are not taught.
