The owners are really pushing for the 18 game season and supposedly the players would go for it if the owners were to sweeten the pot. I agree, if Billionares vs Millionaires costs any games, they will have a hard time bouncing back from that in the fans eyes. Re: Good article about the labor strife

I read somewhere, I think it was a post here (so it must be true!) that the players had already agreed to the 18 game season, or the owners already have that option. Do I have that right? Date: January 13, 2011 05:09AM I heard some money guy on NFLradio yesterday morning, he said the players haven't agreed to it yet, they want some concessions from the owners before they do that, ie; less mandatory off-season stuff, maybe a 6 game IR instead of the whole season and some other stuff I cant remember right now. My guess is we'll see an 18 game season in 2012 and a rookie wage scale whenever this thing gets cleared up. Re: Good article about the labor strife
