I know, after reading that I wouldn't want any of those guys in the first round. however he ripped on claussen all last pre-draft and was right about that, apparently
Nobody truly knows how Locker is gonna pan out otherwise you would all have jobs as talent scouts in the NFL.
Who the hell is to say the kid can't correct his game when he gets to the pro level? what about the NFL talent that came from the 6th and 7th rounds? how come they were never ranked so high?
That's because anything regarding pro athletes is not a guarantee, just ask the Chargers about Ryan Leaf when everybody and their mother thought this kid is going to be the next greatest QB of all time.
Locker has already shown he has the talent and the capability to learn the game of football since he was once ranked to go anywhere from 1-15 overall.
As a fan if we do not move up and take Mallet,Gabbert or Newton I would love to see the Phins take a chance on this guy early in the 2nd round if he is still there, and since the other 3 would be gone we would trade down and get an extra pick in the 2nd R or use our 1st to nab him in the late stages of the 1st round.
We have Henne and Thigpen as our 1 and 2 QB's as of right now so why the f**k not?? seriously why not?

It's funny. I didn't think Dilfer was a flop. He was always a winner and even won a Superbowl.
I don't want to draft someone in the first round in hopes of "correcting" his game---if he couldn't cut it in college he's not going to cut it in the pros

Yeah, but I remember Mike Mayock showing a breakdown on draft day that almost every pass that was intercepted bounced off the hands of one of his WR's.
