And Rookie wage scales are almost certainly going to be addressed in this new CBA as well.

No...If you had a choice of sparano or harbaugh who would you pick.
What has Harbaugh done as coach in the pro game the proves he can handle the transisition from Coaching an ivy league school in college to the HC of an organization like the Dolphins. I am not saying he cant, and I am going to root for the guy, if in fact we sign him. But I truly dont think that Harbaugh is some miracle tonic for this team. Makes me nervous as hell. THis was about ticket sales IMO, not football. Ross wants his splash to help boost sales,
Dont anyone get confused about the fact Harbaugh is a college HC. THis not Bill Cowher or Jon Gruden, who have both won superbowls. This is a college coach

last I checked Stanford was in the pac10 and not the Ivy's, there's kind of a difference in the quality of opponent. If you are referring to the fact that Stanford has high acedemic standards, I'd say that makes what Harbaugh accomplished there MORE impressive, not less, since he can't take any moron onto his team and has a smaller pool of players to recruit.
But I take your main point that he's accomplished nothing as an NFL coach....

There is a transisition, in getting Pros, motivated and believing as it is compared to a group of Kids from Stanford to listen to him. It is a big difference. And I am going to say the Stanford kids rank right up there in discipline and being self motivators..... Sorry you are right STanford is not IVY League, but they have the same caliber student athletes as them, and that is really my point.

Elway didn't want to play for the Colts. Eli Manning didn't want to play for San Diego. They BOTH got their wish!! Just because you're the #1 pick, it doesn't mean you HAVE TO play for the team that's slated to pick #1. All Luck has to do is state that he wants to play for Miami and won't play for anyone else. It's not that crazy a thought.
what an idiot. The last few annointed #1 overall QBs who stayed in college lived to regret it----Locker, Leinart. What, Stanford isn't going to let him back to finish his degree later?? He just cost himself millions of dollars.
I wonder if the announcement that Harbaugh is staying is far behind?
