I haven't seen this report anywhere, and logically, it makes no sense. what has ireland done to earn the owner's support so quickly? he and sporano are tethered together and ross wouldn't do anything that would prevent him from bringing in a "splashy" coach. Date: January 03, 2011 10:05AM Ireland is ok..he did get us a couple of key guys outside of the draft: Bess & Wake. Plus Dansby, Marshall through trades.
We definitely need a new coach I'm sorry to say, because I like Sporano from the prep angle. But He's been poor at quick decisions and adjustments. I officially want Cowher, if he takes over the GM role too, I'm fine with that. Re: Jason La Confora reporting....

Date: January 03, 2011 10:05AM Exactly what Ireland is all about is ??? since tubby tuna was around through all of our drafts etc. (and besides taking up a lot of space chances are tubby ate a lot of draft day twinkies and drank way too much of his own kool-aid).
Like I’ve said before, Ireland comes off like he’s the “bitch” but I think he’s got a serious punk streak as evidenced by “yo momma was a ho” and drafting only 1 QB in 3 years. Right now I say can his ass for the obvious reasons. Too many blown picks and BIG dudes with major surgery in college. Zero ability to land a QB. Zero ability to find speed.
