Ok we need to quit with the talk of drafting ANYONE other than a QB in the 1st round. Pat Devlin or Nick Foles? WHAT A JOKE We have a serious QB crisis and I have nothing else to say other than its either Mallett, Newton, Gabbert or whoever has 1st round potential I dont care HENNE HAS TO GO NO MATTER WHAT

Gabbert may not enter, and nothing says he we be any good. I think Luck is a good guarantee, I like Newton & Locker, not sure on Mallet and we don't have a lot to trade to move up and I don't think they will be there for us.

okay so lets say we draft a Qb with the first round pick, what happens then in 2 years when he still hasn't hit his stride? dump him and start over again? Is this all we are anymore? A team that places all of its troubles on the QB just because there not goddamn Dan flippin Marino? We seriously do nothing but plug em in watch em fail for a while and put a new one in.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat. It will NEVER get us anywhere. If we take a QB i want it to be 2nd round at the earliest. Start Henne and if he still ain't cutting it by midseason, then he's out. Even if we do get a true talent of a QB it will be 2 years before we are a real threat.

"It's been fun to get the reaction of visiting coaches to the color of their locker room. Most don't notice it, but those that do are in trouble. . . . When I talk to an opposing coach before a game and he mentions the pink walls, I know I've got him. I can't recall a coach who has stirred up a fuss about the color and then beat us.” Hayden Fry

We don't have a 2nd rounder this year.

You mean THIS year hasn't been enough to see what Henne truly is? He's an adequate backup. No more

2 years starting WHEN? How about Big Ben, Matt Ryan, and Joe Flacco? All 3 played outstanding their rookie years and took their teams to the playoffs. Sanchez played well enough to take the Jets to the AFC championship game as a rookie! I'm not sold on Sanchez, but there's no doubt he's better than Henne.

I think our QB castoff projects have proven to be a failure.

We need to draft a top-flight QB. Our last 3 2nd rounders have been failures.

Get one in the 1st.

Big Ben, Matt Ryan, and Joe Flacco went to pretty good teams already in place. We are not anywhere near that level. Our offense is really bad and puting an elite QB into this mess is a disaster in the making. He will either get hurt or his confidence will be shattered.

I think we can fill alot of holes in the draft. We draft one of the QBs in the 1st, hope Leonard Hankerson falls to us in the 3rd, then we get one the RBs Devine, Murray or maybe Hunter from Oklahoma State? then focus the rest of the draft on the O-Line

Basically, we're not that far off if we can fix the coaching problem.

I dont think we are far off if we fix the QB/OC problem.

I think we are pretty far off. You realize that the Patriots are way better than us and they are more likely to increase that gap next year. We would have to hit the lottery and they would have to blow their draft. With 3 picks in the top 33 and another 2nd and 2 3rds, they will continue their dominance. It makes me want to puke.

The pats have NOT been great at drafts since they picked Brady. If they use those picks to get decent FAs, then I'd be worried.

The patsies have been very bad drafting.

Thomas Dimitroff (the now Falcons GM) and Scott Pioli (the now Chiefs GM) were the brains behind the patsies great drafts.
