He has been better *IN HIS ENTIRE CAREER* than Mallett has.
Gabbert has been playing hurt this year, he has little offensive talent around him and he is considered one of, if not the, best leader of all the QB's.
Just sayin, Phinsfan.
Listen, I am not a Mizzou fan or Gabbert fan, havent watched much of either, but, that is widely the consensus regarding this guy.
They just showed on TV where Todd McShay has Gabbert ranked #2 behind Luck, and ahead of Newton, Locker, and Mallett (which he has Mallett ranked the worst of all) on the list of best NFL QB prospects.

"If McShay were to be right and Mallett is the 5th best QB in the draft, he'll be there when we pick and both Leon in Denver and I will be very happy campers."

I agree. Honestly, I would love any of these guys, other than Locker.

Awake from my hibernation. It is time to start thinking about the draft.
Sure he threw a costly interception down the stretch, but you are a poor evaluator of talent if you think he is awful. I see a future star at the NFL level. I see a little of Marino and Brady in him, but he is more athletic than both. Unfortunately I don't think we have a shot at him. I am sure the other teams see the same thing in him that I do. He shouldn't get out of the top 10.
Good call A&O. The kid looked like a strong NFL prospect.
Really nice delivery over the top, quick release, seemed to have good awareness in the pocket, moved around and made plays.
From what I saw he hit receivers in stride and his placement was excellent.
Of course being 6-5 is a real advantage seeing over the top. Add that to his high point of release and his tipped balls should be fairly low.
The other kid (Stanzi) looked like a legit NFL prospect as well. Perhaps just me, but he seemed a little “thin” and not quite up to NFL spec physically?
With so many teams needing QB’s it would seem a good year for underclassmen to come out. Let’s hope so.
I thought Gabbert has *STAR QB* written all over him.
The guy just looked the part. The announcers mentioned it over and over, he barely has any talent around him, but he basically puts the entire offense on his shoulders.
They guy is a gun slinger, I hope he falls to us. 6'5 235. Wow.
