you know what, the fleeting joy I'd get from the phins beating the pats playing their scrubs is not = to what is best for the team, getting the best pick and not candy coating our problems. So while I'll root for the win as always, I think when all is said and done I'd ultimately be happier with a loss.

I wouldn't put it past the Pats to lay down this game and hope we win, it's better for them since they have OAKs pick, worse for us since we'd have a lower pick, and will proabably lead to the status quo in the offseason. Remember the Wes Welker drop kick? The pats don't give a crap about this game....

I personally won't be *happier* with a loss, but I'll take solace in the positive draft implications if we lose.

Haha....little do they know that we can invent new ways to lose every week!

It was the Doug Flukie drop kick. And it cost them the game. If they would have gotten a 2-point conversion, I believe it would have sent that game to over time. Hey great, mister flukie, you got a dropkick. Good for you. I"ll take the win.

Then when we played them the following year we DESTROYED them and Zack said in a post-game interview, that the only thing that could have gone better for the PHins was doing a drop kick to the Pats. We remembered that BS and used it as motivation the following year. Hopefully our Defense will do the same if the Pats try the same crap on Sunday.

NYAH, HAH, HAHHH (as Dishonest John used to say on Rocky and Bullwinkle)
....................."Haha....little do they know that we can invent new ways to lose every week!"

Never underestimate the power of Henning to screw up a game.

Beany and Cecil. c'mon man. not Rocky and Bullwinkle....the bad guys on Rocky and Bullwinkle had Russian accents. Boris Badenov and Natasha. Get moose and squirrel!

But I never watched Beany and Cecil. How could I know about Dishonest John?

Got to go to google.

So did I, I admit. I'll grant you that lots of cartoon villains in the old days had a similar snicker.
