By my calculations, the highest draft choice we could possibly be is 15th.

Am I wrong?

if we are tied with team the tie breaker is the team with the lowest strength of schedule picks ahead of us. that's bad news bc we played a really hard schedule.

I thought it was head to head just like for a playoff spot. My bad.

Tiebreakers

• Strength of schedule for the previous season is the first tie-breaker for teams with the same winning percentage. The team with the lowest strength of schedule percentage wins the tiebreaker and picks ahead of all other teams with the same record.

• Divisional and conference records are the next step in the tie-breaking procedure.

• As a last resort, a coin toss is used to determine the order of selection for teams with the same winning percentage.

No head to head at all? That seems silly. But its just like the NFL.

Picking in the teen's isnt bad, because we can trade down prob twice, hell maybe three times, and acquire a bunch of second round picks!! Like Broncos did last year they traded down what 2 or 3 times.

If your not taking top 15 talent, then I would just trade down every year as much as possible untill I got like the last or close to it pick in the first round, and acquire alot of second round talent.

Anyway's I hope our team does that this year.

They did last year, because we didnt have a second, and I'm sure they will repeat this year, I just hope its twice!!

But SamSam, SamSam, SamSam the sensible, I plead with you.

We need A LOT OF HELP. I know there are those who say all we need is a "franchise QB" and look-out SuperBowl next year.

We need desperately, not necessarily in this order, a speed burner WR, Offensive line, replacement for aging running backs, another pass rusher to assure that Wake won't be double teamed, defensive secondary people who can catch interceptions.

We need a lot of draft choices.

We need Vincent Jackson which we gave a chance on, HOPEFULLY be our big offseason target. We need a dominate center, been saying that since well.... We need new RT, and RG.

If we can get all of that, by trading down and acquireing one maybe two second round picks. We need a new OC, I like Childress.
