NO!!! Fire Henning, ok, but if we dump Sparano now the only logical move is to promote Nolan to HC, which means we'd lose him as DC. That would be suicide.

I'll disagree on a few points.
The o-line- John Jerry has been terrible this season. At profootballfocus.com, he has by far the worst grades of any of our linemen, and grades out as one of the worst in the league. Maybe he'll develop, but he has not shown anything at this point. Vernon Carey is among the league leaders at RT in QB pressures allowed. And his run blocking has dropped off this year, too. Given the size of his contract, I don't think its a given that he's kept. And, the thing is, this regime has tried to fix the o-line, and failed miserably. They gave over $50M in contracts to Jake Grove and Justin Smiley. And they gave Carey that huge contract extensions. And they used a 3rd rd pick on Jerry. They have failed miserably on the o-line, which, unfortunately, needs to be a cornerstone of the team.
WR- We do have interesting players at WR. But, of the top 3, not one of them has any speed. We lack team speed on offense in general, but in particular at WR. There is no one to stretch the field and no one to turn short plays into big plays. Moore and Wallace have speed, but neither had a lot of productivity in smaller college programs. Both are projects.
The D Line- whole dominant against the run, and very good overall, we could still use more of a pass rush here. And, if we cannot re-sign Soliai and McDaniel, this unit takes a big, big hit.
And you are right on when it comes to them not spending picks on offense. The two RBS they have taken were both big, between the tackle type runners from smaller programs, not breakaway types. The one TE they took was a huge reach from a tiny program. Of the two WR they took, Turner was a reach in round 3. No one had him projected that high. But, there was a run on big receivers, and in desperation, they took him. Hartline has proven a solid pick, but his ceiling is limited. And the Pat White pick was a gimmick, pure and simple. Tom Jackson said that in his last year at ESPN, Parcells would talk about how determined he was to bring the wildcat to the NFL. And that's why one of his first hires was David Lee, who ran the wildcat at Arkansas. The White pick was part of Parcells' pet project, nothing more.
I think the most distressing thing is that they have tried to make the o-line a priority, and its been a disaster. Here we are, headed into year 4, and they will still be trying to find answers up front.
