Cheer Up

Both the Patsies, Jest, and the Dolphins all play each other and the Bills in three of the last five games.

In addition, however, each team has, of course, two remaining games.

Our two are against Cleveland and Detroit.

The Patsies, however, play Green Bay and Chicago.

The Jest play Pittsburgh and Chicago.

So, looked at that way, we have a lot easier road.

The season is far from over.
We root for the Pats to win this weekend, win out the remainder of the Divisional games and, cheer for Chicago.smiling bouncing smiley

Why would we root for the Pats to win ANY games?

I know, and I feel dirty for saying it but, if the jets win they'll be 4-0 in the division and harder to catch.

I'm rooting for Brady to break the knee. He's won three Superbowls, NFL MVP, and Superbowl MVP. He'll retire at 33 a multi-millionaire married to a super model and lay on the beach the rest of his life. I'd take a broken knee for for that any day. Sanchez, just break a finger (out for the season).

This MNF we should all be rooting for the Jets and Pats to play each other so hard that neither team has an ounce of strength left for the rest of the season.

If I have to root for either the Jets or NE, I go NE. Why, because F*&! the Jets.

Good points Chyren, I agree, Lets hope Chicago, starts playing lights out as well as that defense being brutally rough!!

PhinsFans2, the "easier" part referred to the level of the competition, not our overall situation.

I'll be more elementary next time.

Jason Allen just had a big INT of Michael Vick.

I'm glad he got an INT but I am also glad the Eagles won, as much as I despise them and their fans. We needed Houston to get further out of the wild card hunt.

We should be rooting for the Jets shouldn't we. The Pats are the wildcard at this point so we would hope they loose the rest of the games. In reality we have a better chance of catching them in terms of standings then the Jets. I feel the Patriots are better then the Jets, but we can get to them faster then the Jets.

Jets need to lose this game.

They are a one tricky poney, which we can topple. They also play the Steelers, which they will lose. Chicago should beat them as well, because Chicago matchs up well against them.

If they lose these 3 games, and we beat them, then we will be heading to the playoffs if we win out, however if we can't take care of the Brown's on, then this conversation is irrelevant.

Ummmmmmmmm.................... Did you just ask this question on a Miami Dolphins website?............... Our DNA makes it impossible for us to root for the jets.. I hope they collapse. After Rex Ryan got to the AFC East, the Patriots got off the hook of villains in my book. I Would much rather see NE win then NY. I dont like Baltimore nor Pittsburg either. NE and Brady have always been respectful of Miami, I cant say the same for Ryan or any of the jets.
I dont like Baltimore because of how they overly celebrated with Cam Cameron after beating us, and always make it in us vs Cam pr on TV. Also Baltimore beat us in the playoffs in 08 and we havent beaten them since the Camarillo 1-15.
Pittsburg dont like them since this year particularly, on getting robbed by them and then Big Ben lying after the game to press when he said he recovered the ball... and then they ran out of town like crooks, knowing they had stole our W.
But the Jets are the worse. So my order of rooting would be: Jets, Baltimore, Pittsburg, New England.
But I would obviously root for any team but the JEts and Baltimore, if it would help us in the standings

Jets are 3-0 and pats are 2-1 in the division. We need the pats to lose for two reasons.

1) they will go to 2-2 in the division and we will both have the same # of loses so they are catchable, and if we beat them (which we have to do they will have 3 division loses so we now win tie breaker

2) Pats are the ultimate professionals (I hate to say it). If we hope them to lose a stretch of games it wont happen. The jets can go on a stretch of loses from believing that they are unstoppable.

Therefore I think we need the pats to lose, if they do in theory we can catch them at 11-5 (and we would have do the impossible thats run the table)
