No those are excuses. This team is one of the top five highest paid players in all of the NFL. No excuses, no spinning the loss. When was the last time we were shut out? Injuries are a fact of life in the NFL, it's how you handle them.

Convert over to the jets for that game, it's going to be brutal. I'll actually enjoy it as it gets closer to a top 10 draft. Thing openly, a loss now is a great thing.
I tried to tell you "be careful what you wish for, you might get it". You wanted Pennington, ya got him. You wanted Thigpen, ya got him. Wouldn't you love to have Henne back about now, at least for the rest of the year?
No we didn't get Penny. He played for three plays. We already know what Henne can do and now we know what Thiggy can do. I would rather play Patrick Ramsey over Henne.
Yes, you did. The guy's shoulder is very fragile these days. Look at the monster(!) hits he took on his last two "out-for-the-year" hits. His shoulder is done. It saddens me, but maybe we'll get a helluva coach out of it.
Yes I do want Henne back now so our soon to be punch drunk team and it’s fans won’t forget that he is no better than the other QB’s on the roster. Else, we’ll have to sit through ANOTHER year of ‘…Waiting for him to develop…’
