Do you think Ross cleans house and try for Cowher or Chucky? Or does he give this regime another year to take us to a 7-9 season. This is just like The Wannstedt years.... or the movie Groundhog Day!
With the injury issues, I think it would be overreacting to dump Sparano, but Henning needs to go. With the injury at Center, we needed to change our strategy and do whatever we could to give Thigpen time to throw...or space to run. Henning has no idea how to do that.
We need to build an assistant coaching staff similiar to the Bears, but with Sparano our Head Coach.
Rod Marinelli- Defensive Coordinator- *GREAT* D coordinator/Former HC
Mike Martz- Offensive Coordinator- *GREAT* O coordinator/Former HC
Mike Tice- Offensive Line Coach- *GREAT* Line Coach/Former HC
No to Chuckie. He only got to the Super Bowl cause he had Tony Dungee's players in place. Henning needs to go. They should have gone to a spread offense and put in Cobbs and or other speed receivers to spread the defense. Simple straight ahead blocking and let them decide with six players trying to make a play, Yes that counts Thigpen's ability to scramble.
A lot of overreacting after last night's loss. This team is decimated by injuries. But I honestly believe if the dolphins seriously address the interior O line in the offseason, they can be a very good team. For some reason they have been going stop-gap with guys like incognito, grove and other cast offs. Without a strong anchor, the offense is going to suck against good defenses.
