Unlike this board, even though the game was lost, it was good to see Saprano still trying to fight it out in the end. With all the injuries going up against one of the best defenses in the league, it was amazing the score was only 16-0. Anyone forget it was 6-0 at half.

I am tired of all the excuses, but look at the facts. Most people on this board are just biting at the chops to say the negative and hope a miracle will happen to send us to the Super Bowl. You put a guy in at QB with little or no help and then say he sucks. The only good comparison we have had is last weeks game where Henne and Thigpen both played the same team. Look at what they both did and compare. And that is the reason we celebrated Thigpen over Henne is that fact he gave us a winning chance.

I saw many players quit last night, especially Shawn Smith with his tackling ability, Marshall and his ability to kill a drive and Henning not realizing we should have gone to a spread offense with men in motion to open up the field with quick throws since there was nothing happening in the traditional offense.

Shades of Wanny's and Cam's last years. Players are frustrated. Players are quitting. This is an obvious signs that changes are coming!

I would never tell them to quit. That is why the elite teams, no matter who is playing, always do well. Pittsburgh, New England, Packers. they always find a way to come around even with no name players. Be a man and play for the fact you are getting paid well over the minimum wage. I could see if they were playing for ten dollars an hour, but with the league minimum $350,000 and most making more then that.

It just pisses me off when I hear that crap about throwing it in. That is the reason why the country is such quitters. First sign of trouble and instead of trying everything possible, people just throw in the towel and put their hand out and wait for the check!
