I am very anxious to see how the kid performs tonight Vs. what C. Clemons has done this season. Jones played roughly 1 1/2 qtrs and IMO has had a greater impact then Clemons. If he plays well I wonder if he will get more playing time when Clemons gets healthy.

What about the chance of him and Clemons growing into a unit togethor?

One of them replacing Bell someday, ya know?!

I think they looked at Jones as more of a SS, but I think Clemons would probably transition to a decent SS. He likes contact and is a decent tackler. Jones appears to have better ball skills (although it was only a small sample)

Has anyone noticed that Sean Smith has greatly improved his tackling this season?

I did not that as well. Smith looks alot more comfortable trying to make tackles.

Which is what I pointed out in my thread that on clear passing downs, we need to sub in Smith for a OLB and still have Harris, Davis Jones, and Bell out there to really smother the offense.
