There is still many more games to come, but there was big difference in the way the offense looked with Pennington and Thigpen in there then with Henne. Anyone who watched the game could not say otherwise!
I have defended Henne all year, but there was no doubt about it Today.. Thigpen played well while he was in KC, he played well every time he was put in a game in preseason, he played well against Pittsburgh last year when given a chance. He certainly seems to have the fire in his belly. I think he's earned a chance. He deserves the start on Thursday against Chicago, and not just because everybody else is hurt. He provided that "spark" everybody was looking for.

I agree he should be the starter even if one of the Chad's are good to go. He definitely earned it today.
And since we are playing on a short week why not let the 2 Chad's get extra rest, no sense risking further injury to either one of them.
Hopefully both are not to seriously injured.
I could see the entire team behind him. I bet there is a lot we are missing. Teammates were all behind him and it was obvious watching them on the field and on the sidelines.
