Close but not quite accurate. Was not the AFC championship game. I think it might have been Grease that took the snap on 3rd down, went back in the endzone. He was suppose to run around back there taking some more time off the clock, but he got antsie and stepped out of the endzone.
I have this game on CD. I'll have to check it out when I get a chance.
Isn't that the game when Anderson picked off 3 and returned 2 for TDs?
Bradshaw was a rookie and came in for Gilliam (sp) or someone. God, Terry stunk it up for his first couple years. But, boy could he throw the rock.
Say this is a little off subject, but does anyone remember what Lambert said about the rule change of (in the grasp)?
Well he said "I think they should all ware skirts". When Bradshaw was told that, he said, "What ever Jack says is fine with me".
I hated the Steelers back then, but they were one hell of a team.
