Parcells definitely leaves a lot of unfinished business.
OL- despite spending huge money here, we still have questions in the interior of the line. Is Joe Berger a long term answer at C? And Richie Incognito is a free agent after this season.
RB- Both Ronnie and Ricky are free agents after the season. And there is no heir apparent.
TE- Anthony Fasano is a free agent after the season, and there is no one behind him on the depth chart.
WR- The team lacks a deep threat at WR. Maybe Roberto Wallace or Marlon Moore will develop into one. But, right now, we still need someone to stretch the defense.
The picture is a lot better on defense. Assuming a return to health for Merling and Odrick, DE should be set. There is a question around whether or not Starks should stay at NT long term. Will Crowder be the permanent guy next to Dansby? Will Chris Clemons get better?
adalius thomas is pretty old he would be a kind of short term answer to anything besides i think he is an ILB which would be of no help. I may be wrong though he might be an OLB in which case he may be able to play DE. But still only an answer for a couple years at best. if he is any good any more.
"It's been fun to get the reaction of visiting coaches to the color of their locker room. Most don't notice it, but those that do are in trouble. . . . When I talk to an opposing coach before a game and he mentions the pink walls, I know I've got him. I can't recall a coach who has stirred up a fuss about the color and then beat us.” Hayden Fry

I cant disagree with that. I am all for an elite safety in next years draft.

It will be tough to find another NT that can replace Paul Soliai. Good NTs are hard to come by.

smiley and grove were big $$ signings and both were cut. that's the problem. we spent the $ on 4 players and only 2 are still on the team
Armando Salguero reported today that Ireland contacted the Patriots last week about trading for Logan Mankins. So, it's pretty apparent that Ireland considers the guard position an area that still needs improvement.
didn't the trade deadline pass on tuesday or is that this coming tuesday?
