I agree about Edwards but I agree with those who think Vick did his time. The guy was out of the league two years. The point was to make him realize his mistakes and he's done that. The point wasn't to send a message out and ban him from football. Im very happy for Vick and his great comeback.

Then its wrong. It should be labeled as a crime. He should had been suspended.
He got caught by a cop. And they probably threw his butt in jail.....Probably had to pay a fine to do bail....at least thats the way it is for the rest of the regular people in america........Should had been allowed to play if proven innocent.
He is guilty as hell.

You bet on that one -- the NFL has a lot of shady crap like that going on.
Don't you mean Goddell sucking Krafts...(rhymes with sock)?

Phinfan2.......I guess we have to obey the laws and we have a system or laws or whatever you want to call them.
That been said..........I dont believe in the legal system anymore. Not when it was proven OJ sipmson killed his girlfriend and they set him free when he should gotten the chair instead.
Why they set him free? Because he was rich just like the rest of these thug so called athletes who run around thinking they can do anything they want and get away with it........Just like edwards....who got caught and still got paid sunday night.
I got a ticket for the seatbelts the other day for 125 bucks.........went to a lawyer and only paid 35 bucks...cased dismissed.
Judges are bought and the legal system is corrupted..
Quote....1) He was arrested. That involves being arrested/taken to jail.
2) He posted bail. No fine. Fines are imposed AFTER one is proven to be guilty.
5) "He is guilty as hell"...So says the guy that wasn't within 1,000 miles of the incident when it happened.
I could had been 100 thousand miles and still realized he was guilty unless he was been framed by the cop. What are the odds of that happening.

RE: Even though your post was directed at Phinfan2 I'll chime in. Yes we do for better or for worse. The system does work, most of the time however.

RE: Here's the thing about OJ. The prosicution screwed the pooch...badly. The system worked with respect to the OJ case...the state could not prove his guilt and therefore he had to be aquitted. I personally believe that he either; A. Killed then=m, or B. Knows who did...however that belief means nothing. Belief in guilt does not mean giult.

RE: All this means is that the state didn't think it was worth the trouble...

RE: Some are...most are not...in my experience anyway.
