Please I think the Phins are giving me a heart atack.

The best thing Chad Henne has is a great arm.
That is not enough. He has slow feet, no pocket awarness and his choises are what a scared player makes. Scared of making a mistake that is.

He has a long, long way to go and I doubt if he gets there.

Play calling was suspect in many cases, but Henne is why our Offense preaty much sucks.

Defense though is awesome!!!smileys with beer

I'll this as a great road win!!
2 and 0 baby!!smileys with beersmileys with beersmileys with beer

The announcers commented on it today, and there was a column in of the south Florida papers about it today, that the Dolphins have coached Henne into this mode. They drill him so consistently about not throwing INT that he is reluctant to take any chances with the football at all. They need to let him air it out. The offense has scored 20 points in two games. That won't get it done. The coaches need to help Henne along, letting him throw the ball downfield more.

Well when you have a great defense like I am starting to realize that we have as a qb you dont want to lose the game... Would your rather he throws for 300 yards with 1TD and 3 picks? Or 0picks and 170 yards?

Any team with a grind first mentality I dont care who your qb is, unless you are behind you dont let him cut lose. that is just how it is.

I think they need to find some sort of happy medium. It is great that they have drilled him so well on not throwing INT. But, we need to open things up in the passing game for the offense to take another step forward.

I just hope they coach him and teach him and then when he is ready let him loose.

I agree completely if we gonna be a great team we need to beat teams and i mean beat teams.

That been said i would take this win any day instead of him throwing 3 TDs and 3 ints and losing the game....But this goes without saying im sure you feel the same way as far as winning..Rather win ugly. you know what i mean.

There are times when the defense is not gonna play well and we going to need to score a lot of points.

I don't have a problem with Henne not taking undue chances with the ball but we have to open things up just a bit...we are playing almost everything on offense entirely too close to the vest. When you are only attempting two passes over twenty yards a game that's too little. 5.5 yards per pass attempt is also too little...it's not all Henne however, I do realize there is more to it than that and I am not in any way laying things at Henne's feet. Henning needs to get a bit more aggressive and the receivers need to step it up alot...Marshall, as I have said many times can't do it all by himself.

It wasn't Henne that fumbled on the play following an Jason Allen INT. Twice.

This game shouldn't have even been close. As long as our defense plays this well, and our running game stops fumbling, and we keep winning, I'm OK.

"We don't have a WR that scares anyone deep, we don't have a TE that stretches the seem, and we don't have a RB that can hit a home run. That means our receivers don't often generate a ton of separation. That's a problem that needs to be addressed for next year."

I disagree. We don't have a QB that scares anyone. Our receives are fine. Sure it would be nice to bring in another speedster if he can play.
All you need to do is watch the Broncos last game. There receivers are about average and look at what they did. Look at what Orton did. Over 300 yards with two TDs. He has the quick feet and pocket presence. He looks very comfortable out there.
I hope Henne improves as we all do. He has to.

RESPONSE: Hmmmm.... Ted Ginn.......hmmmm. Just saying. I was one of the few on the board defending him. Anybody know how he's doing now?

I have been watching football a long time and I go against the traditional view of Brandon Marshall as a speed receiver. To me he is more of a possession receiver. He's great at getting open.

But he's no Randy Moss.

But if we could have Ted Ginn on one side and Brandon Marshall on the other. Santa Lucia!

Just three words.

1. Randy Moss

2. John Avery

3. Jimmy Johnson

Equals one of the worst moves in draft history.

We are keeping our "true" offense a secret until we unveil it this weekend against the Jests.

LOL.
