Well the first two games were away...Bills and minny and i fully expected us to go 0-2. Meaning i was preparing myself for the worst since the first preseason game just so that it doent hit so hard if it did indeed happened. But it didnt.

I mean we have such a young team and both games away..This has been such a pleasant surprise.

I know i might sound negative but thats the way i felt.

The miami dolphins have not had a good start to a season since i can remember. I forgot the last time they won the first couple of games. It has been that long.

I really cant recall.

I figured we would have beat the bills but not minny. I fear the Jets and the Pats the next few weeks. If we can go in and beat these 2 teams, I will then have a much better feeling the rest of the year. The problem is though we have a good defense, we need to be able to put points up with a confident offense, something I dont see from Henne and company just as of yet. If it was me, I would send the first pass of both opening games (jets and pats) a bomb downfield to Marshall to open up a quick lead, then use the running game to hammer the clock and establish ball control, while our defense holds both these teams to low or no scores.

Every few years we have a great game against NY and we blow them out. I think we're primed for that this coming Sunday. My prediction:

Miami 31
NY 6

Holding both these teams to no scores would as hard as winning the lotto IMO
