what could he possibly be dissapointed about. he only played 1 year and by all accounts it was an above average 1st year. the preseason? come on. hopefully this is just a motivational ploy. what did he expect in his (less than 1) year as a starter? remember the plan was for pennington to start last year anyway.

Well I guess its a good thing Parcells is not the coach.

This is one of the ways that Parcells motivates his players.

I'm sure that Henne does not want to be a dissapointment.

He only has one shot of being a stud QB and that is to approach it like Peyton Manning did when he came in the league. WORK...work and then work some more. I hope he gets that!

What a poor job by the interviewers. That was a potentially big story and they dropped the ball. That little tidbit bothers me. Why is Parcell's so disappointed? Maybe the local boys will recover the fumble and run with it.

I'd like to see Parcells' actual quote. Doubt he said he was "very disappointed in Chad Henne". More like he didn't think Henne had a very good preseason - which Henne didn't.

PFT grabbed an out of context quote from a radio interview that paraphrased a conversation with Parcells about the pre-season. Talk about convoluted.

I don't even think this is a case of Parcells trying to motivate. More like PFT just stirring crap as usual.

The context was Henne's performance in the preseason. Did PFT say that Parcells was disappointed in Henne's pre-season performance? No. So it is out of context.

Some of you people really need to take a Journalism 101 course. To pin anything on PFT when all they did was post a link is absolutly insane.

The dilema is that the majority of board members still get a good bit of their information from print sources and other news organizations, and those sources do have to look into anything that they list.

Maybe its bogus, but blaming PFT is silly. All they did was post a link to it. Not report it.

That's the issue with PFT though. They'll pass along anything. ANYTHING. And just because they call themselves a "rumor mill" they get a free pass.

So yeah, in my opinion it is fare to blame PFT for their role in making this a "story".

Parcells is dissapointed with Henne is he!...well guess what,im dissapointed in Parcells for trying to bring the dallas cowboys mis-fits and nobodys to Miami..not to mention draftees White,Turner etc...shall i continiue...ohh dont forget Merling in that lot.

Mando said sunday on the chat board of the iphone herald application that there was no reason to be concerned about that report and that he was preatty sure that parcell was happy with henne.

But I'm pretty sure that if parcell and or sparano were disapointed about Henne, they won't tell it to mando or any journalist covering the phins.

Henne has to play a few good games so this rumor doesn't bother anyone anymore.
