This is surprising. I haven't seen much from Nalbone, but I guess the coaches have.

He has a stress fracture in his foot that is going to keep him off the field for too long to keep him.

Sorry to see Haynos go, he did create mismatches w/ his height.

I think they most have confidence in David Martin, before his injury, he was a good TE for us. Unfortunately Haynos's injury pretty muched sealed his destiny with not making the roster

One of the beat reporters (can't remember which one) tweeted that the coaches are excited and high on Nalbone right now.

Nalbone= Sparano gave him some individual praise in his press conference, saying he got alot of work in last week preparing to play the Falcons, playing Tony Gonzales against the first team defense and he looked good.

I would look for us to sign another TE very soon. We need a 3rd TE that will contribute and I don't see Nalbone as an active player on the roster.

Kory Sperry was picked up by Denver. They sure do like our players.

Yeah, losing Sperry stinks. I liked what he did for us last year. I think we'll survive losing Haynos, though. His main asset was his height, but he didn't do much else.

I AM excited that David Martin is back, but we need a 3rd TE.

Didnt do much else? Most pass's thrown his way where over thrown, but the ones that wernt he caught, and did a solid job.

He also did a decent job blocking. This sucks that he got hurt, I hope he comes back and get's his job back next year.

He also did solid on special teams.

Haynos was an imposing target and he seemed to catch everything thrown his way even of he was not targeted that often. He was a very good 3rd TE that contributed on 3rd downs.

I have seen nothing from Nalbone to verify that he is capable of playing in this league.
