He has a stress fracture in his foot that is going to keep him off the field for too long to keep him.

I think they most have confidence in David Martin, before his injury, he was a good TE for us. Unfortunately Haynos's injury pretty muched sealed his destiny with not making the roster
Nalbone= Sparano gave him some individual praise in his press conference, saying he got alot of work in last week preparing to play the Falcons, playing Tony Gonzales against the first team defense and he looked good.
Yeah, losing Sperry stinks. I liked what he did for us last year. I think we'll survive losing Haynos, though. His main asset was his height, but he didn't do much else.
I AM excited that David Martin is back, but we need a 3rd TE.
Haynos was an imposing target and he seemed to catch everything thrown his way even of he was not targeted that often. He was a very good 3rd TE that contributed on 3rd downs.
I have seen nothing from Nalbone to verify that he is capable of playing in this league.
