I think he's a lock unless another WR both steps up as a WR AND shows a lot as a KR/PR. I don't think we've got anyone like that.
why is it so hard for us to find a KR or PR in the late rounds? Everyone else can do it. We us a top 10 pick on one, and he wasn't even that great at that.

We had the guy. Korey Sheets. People don't realize how big that injury was. Sheets was the gamebreaker we needed in those return jobs. Once he got hurt the coaches have pretty much settled on giving the jobs to Bess/Cobbs cause they know they won't fumble and will at the very least catch the ball. That is why last night they let everyone BUT Cobbs return kickoffs. Give everyone else a chance to see if they can unseat Cobbs. The coaches are BEGGING for someone to beat him and take that job from Cobbs, unfortunatly nobody will and CObbs has that job.
not sure why you say that. sheets was not a KR in college and didn't do it in the pros. maybe he'd have been good at it for us but I'm not sure what that's based on other than hope.
Camarillo played more snaps than Davone Bess last season. And he played the most snaps of any WR for us in 2008. Hartline is no lock to beat him out for a starting spot. And Bess is no lock to beat him out in the slot if Camarillo loses the starting spot. I doubt that Camarillo will go from being the WR with the most snaps in 2009 to not on the team in 2010.

He had worked on it all offseason and had it down pretty well according to reports

I wasn't even sure Sheets was going to make the team. Like you, I was hoping he would become something special, but we won't know now. At least not this year.

Camarillo played those snaps because we had no other options or better options. I mean GINN entered last year as our #1 WR. Nuff said.
NOW, you have Marshall. Hartline has a year under his belt and isn't a rookie and has jumped Camarillo on the depth chart from week 1. And you still have Bess around. Camarillo took those snaps last year by default because we had nobody else. That isn't an issue anymore
Am I right on this 4 man lineup?
Marshall
Hartline
Bess
Camarillo?
I gotta say after finally watching Turner get some game time, he really makes me wonder what he'll turn out to be if the light comes on. He has such big presence for a wideout.

I hope your right. I haven't been a big Camarillo fan and since his injury his lack of burst and speed really hurts him. I would love us to keep Moore and Turner and dump Cam, I just don't see it happening.

talkin about the depth chart. I left out a fifth because we rarely see miami go spread 5 like that. That and it's so up in the air whose going to be in that 5th spot.

I agree, Marlon Moore looked decent as well... Camarillo at this point I dont think is a lock to make the team... He has to out play these other guys in camp, and the other WR's youth and some of them size gives them the edge in roster cuts if Camarillo doesnt signifigantly outplay them in Camp
Mike Berardino of the Sun Sentinel answered this very question about Camarillo making the team today on twitter. He said if Cam is healthy he makes the team.
