Akin Ayodele CUT in Denver

Akin Ayodele was cut by the Broncos.

Depth at MLB for Miami? hmmmmmmm, with Crowder always banged up it wouldn't be crazy to think of bringing him back as a back-up MLB

As long as he's our 4th MLB (behind Dansby, Crowder, and Dobbins), I'm fine with that. I never liked Ayodele.

Kinda tells you we've been working with substandard pieces the last few years, doesn't it? Our starter last year, in the first cuts in Denver, to us talking about him as a 4th MLB this year.

Look, we are young enough on defense. If we have eyes on playoffs and a playoff run we need some more vets in our back 7. Wake is young, Misi is young (granted OLB not ILB but still). Our entire secondary is really young for the most part. As a backup LB making no money.....I would do it.

We can hide those other guys on the practice squad and dump Akin at any time if he isnt up to snuff.

Trimming the Roster down on defense is already going to be tough, I can not say that I dont see your point in wanting to bring in Ayodele. The one problem is, at what cost. Right now teams are trimming down and cutting players, So in my mind, you have to say who, gets cut, to bring Akin back on the team.. Of course I would like alot of guys, but cutting down to 53 with this roster is already going to be a trying task IMO...

We're not taking him. Our FO released him for a reason. He was average and 31 years old.

I agree with those who talk about keeping a roster spot for our young players. If Dansby, Crowder, or Dobbins go on IR, we can likely find an ILB of Ayodele's caliber then. Really, Ayodele is not that good.
