First-I seriously doubt crossing routes have changed that much, but I don't think Namath belongs in that room.
I just watched this show because of something Sun-Tzu said however many thousands of years ago-know your enemy. The thing I saw that kind of surprised me is that at this time of year, the defenses across the league are usually quite a bit ahead of the offenses. In the team scrimmage, the Jets offense definitely bested the defense. Maybe this defense isn't going to be as good as so many predict. Does Revis' absence really make that much of a difference? Its early yet, but it bears watching.
The funniest thing was Joe's shorts! The guy looked like Fred Mertz from I love Lucy........I think his belt was at his nipple line.
Rex Ryan...what can I say.....he is still and will always be a POS IMO. I am not sure how a tub os sh*t like that can be ANY motivation for ANYONE aside from the fact that he can fire you....that is why he gets respect and only why!
Maybe Namath heard there was going to be a hot chick reporter there that he could try to make out with on camera, whilst being totally piss drunk at the same time.
"I wanna kisss eweeee. I could care less about my team strugggglllling.."
Quote of the day came from Sparano, when asked whether he watched the debut of HBO's "Hard Knocks": "I got to be real honest with you, OK, and this is as light as I can be. At this time of year, I really don't have any time for any kind of TV other than watching film of my team. So no."

I would have been upset had he personally taken the time out of his busy schedule to watch something that is considered entertainment. I love how my coach is 100 percent business and is devoting his life to his job. Breath, eat, shit, FOOTBALL. That's how dynasties are built. The more Sparano is around, the more he grows on me as a long term coach of the Dolphins. I hope they do very good this year, if for no other reason that if they don't, I think he's on the block simply from a performance standpoint. I put him up there with the top 5 coaches in the league, I hope we lock him up for a long time.
Well if there is a lock out, who know's what will happen Mikeo?
But your right Mikeo what the hell does it have to do with anything!
I tell you what since you know everything, and have the magic crystal ball, then please Sir, enlighten us poor ordinary folks that obviously know nothing, and only look to your greatness for certainty!!

You might want to read "stop being an ass 101," then re-join this conversation!
Again if there is a lock out for two three years, who knows what would happen is what I'm saying.
Well what if the owner wanted to fire him, because the replacements did a bad job lets say for 2 years, then what?
Could happen, but highly unlikely, and if there was a lock out, then Maybe Sparano wouldnt want to coach?
Just saying you never know?
What if new rules get set up, and coachs would become part of the union, or make one?
Just saying to Odenn before I got rudely interupted, that I hope everything goes smoothly, and that we can get him locked up, but that the CBA talk's has me a little worried.

An owner can fire a coach at anytime, lockout or not. The lockout has nothing to do with whether an owner fires his coach or not!! And Sparano would leave his high paying NFL contract over a lockout? ha ha ha !!! ha ha ha ha
yeah, because Don Shula and Chuck Noll walked away in 1982 and 1987 when there were work stoppages. They didn't want to get paid HUGE money to do nothing or coach replacement players and have no stress in their lives.. ha ha ha. You got to be kidding me!! ha ha
Back on topic. I just hope we get this coach under contract for at least the next 3 years, depending on this years success. I like his mentality when it comes to players, and how he carries himself in front of the public eye. He lets his work and his team do the trash talking for him. I prefer that much more than say, Rex Ryan's style of making promises before you even take a pre-season snap.

Well its a results oriented league. If Sparano wins this year and has success makes playoffs..etc he will get an extension. If its another 7-9 year or worse I think the entire front office is shown the door.
I mean with the money we spent on Dansby and Marshall if we don't win more games than last year something is seriously wrong and its time for a change
