I can't believe you read that and never figured out it was a joke. I was laughing from the get go. Especially considering my comment in this thread about how funny I think it is when my students get violently mad at each other when they tell "Yo mamma" jokes.
Years ago, one small obnoxious little kid kept telling these jokes over and over despite my demands to be quiet and get back to work. This much bigger young man appropriately laughed at one directed towards his mother. Afterall the other dude didn't really know his mother. So this big kid shoots one back. I will never forget it. "Yo mamma's lips are so big, she uses spray chapstick." The litte kid freaked out. "Don't you go talkin' bout my mamma", he yelled. At this point, he flies over the desk and attacks the big kid. The big kid was stunned at first, but held the little kid off. The little dude was hysterical and flailing about while the big kid kept him at a safe distance. The big kid said, "Just like I thought, you can dish it out, but you can't take it." Few things are worse that people like that.

Johnathan T - Sorry but took it hook line and sinker. I rarely read the reader comments, and of late put nothing past the combo of reporter hype of FO / player public forays.
Perhaps dulled by the rash of misteps and or reporting slants (which ever way you want to read it:
Dez thing, Safety (Ryan visit), JT departure, seems like either someone is dumping a story for personal gain, or the FO is stepping on their (self?) with regularity of late.
