Berry ain't falling. There is talk of teams moving up to #4 to get him. Looks like EVERYONE was playing coy on Berry and now as the draft nears everyone wants him.
Yup. Berry's out. If Thomas is available and we don't pick him, I'll be a little upset. But I drink the Kool-Aid (for now) so I trust FO to make good decision based on our needs and what's available.
No option for Thomas here?

Word is leaking out on WQAM and from some Sun-Sentinel people that the gameplan is this....
1) Trade Down
2) Derrick Morgan
3) Earl Thomas
The wild-card is Sergio Kindell but from information gathered by these sources its trade down, if they can't. They want Morgan, if he's gone, they will take Earl Thomas.
Of course they don't know 100% sure, but word leaking out according to their sources that is the game plan. So we will see

Tomorrow is gonna be great. NFL Network starts their LIVE coverage at 1pm!! Yes, 1pm for a 7:30 draft!!!!
And there is a red carpet thing at 6pm with Marino involved. In Rd 2 this year (Friday) the announcemnts of the picks are gonna be made by ex-players, make a wish foundation kids, and military folks who just got home. Marino was gonna make our 2nd round pick but.....that went away with the Marshall trade. Oh well
How many people predicted Vontae Davis would be our pick last year? No one. Everyone thought he was a bad character guy and not a fit with Parcells. I bet something similar happens this year, with us taking someone that no one saw coming. Rolando McClain, Jermaine Gresham, Joe Haden, Kyle Wilson, Ryan Matthews, Mike Iupati. And some of those guys would make sense in the trade down scenario.
I think i would be happy if earl thomas slipped to us. But I think we will go with kindle or trade down. I would be really happy with 2 2nd round picks for a first round pick.
Also rumor going around this morning of Washington trading up to #1 to take Bradford. Don't know what chips they got to trade they only have 4 picks in this draft and have already traded picks next year.

I think that's the scenario. We'll have Wake on the weakside, so need a guy who can set the edge against the run and sometimes drop into coverage on the strongside. McClain could do that. And he's a good blitzer. And his 40 time was as fast or faster than Morgan, Kindle, or Graham.
Is Mcclain the right size and speed to play outside? If so it would give them 3 guys that could play both inside and out. And good points on the keys Mike
Not sure if McClain is the right size to play OLB. I have been anti-McClain for a while, but that was cause we don't need an ILB at 12. If he can play OLB opposite Wake, then Im all for McClain
Thanks on KUDOS for the KEYS....I mean those are the 2 teams (KC and OAK) that scare me. Cause they could screw it up for us.
If Earl, Morgan, and McClain are all off the board by 12.....what does Miami do?? Reach for Kindell? Take Dan Williams? Not many appealing options. Especially if they can't move down.

Haha, Mike in all seriousness do you have a job? Or are you just being facetious about how ridiculous the coverage of the NFL draft is going to be, being that they are starting Live coverage at 1pm for a 7:30 draft?
I think Buff is also a key. Best case scenario is they take Dan Williams. first, so we don't take him at 12 (not worth it), second so that an OT or Clausen or Thomas falls to us, making a trade down more likely.
