Opposite? We have a new D.C. who did wonders in Denver. We still have Starks, Wake, Bell, Will Allen, Smith, Davis, Langford. We signed Dansby and will move Crowder to his more comfortable WILB position. I think our defense will, actually, be better than last year. This isn't the Dan Marino dolphins!
Our defense had moments last season where they played very well...if we add an OLB, NT or DE at #12, an OLB or NT in the 3rd and a FS/SS in the 4th we should be better player wise...scheme and player development can take care of the rest.
We should now bring back JT for one more season to groom whomever we take at #12 especially if its a LB or DE.
We will however still need another big fast WR (should be D. Thomas via trade into the bottom of the 1st round, IMHO) and next year we can address needs at RB, OLB, ILB, TE, and CB.
