The draft is fairly deep defensively

how about taking Spiller than trading the second for Brandon Marshall?
These two give us two big time playmakers and make us one of the, if not the, best offense in the league

Move Smiley, Camarillo, Brown for some picks 2-5 and add defensive side & a tight end

seriously, who in their right mind will trade for Camarillo

There are undrafted free agents that can do what he does.

Seattle dropped down in the second to get Charlie Whitehurst! 0 NFL games. We could possibly get a 4th or 5th for him.

Seattle lost Bureleson and might trade Branch.

That is a QB. And you are smart enough to know QB's are judged differently than 4th WR types.

Nobody is giving up a pick for Camarillo. You can find the next Camarillo on the undrafted FA market after the draft. Seriously

One of the first things that ParSporLand did when they got here is get rid of our 3rd round small speed running back Lorenzo Booker. Then they proceeded to draft two big RB's in Parmele & Hilliard.

Honestly, I don't believe that our offense was the major problem in why we lost too many close games. Our defense crumbled in giving up big plays. TE's killed us over the middle of the field and we had way too many receptions over the top. We obviously need better production at Free Safety and an increase in pass rush.

We need a defensive infusion in a big way and we need to incrimentally get more productive in our offense...more big plays over the top and better production from the TE spot over the middle and keep Bess doing his thing. Camarillo should be completely healed and should be targeted more because he just does not drop the ball. We need to be smarter in getting the ball to Ginn in space...ie the deep completion over the top of Revis and two other defenders vs the Jetsies.

Are you kidding? Ricky Williams had over 1800 yards and 16 TD's in 02 and almost 1400 the next year.

Morris had ONE thousand yard season and one with 954. He was a great RB with a fantastic ypc average but still...

I agree we haven't had a great history of top RB's. I mean Csonka was a fullback really. But you gotta give Ricky is due for his 2002 and 2003 season.

And wait till you watch the movie in a couple weeks and you see him preparing for games, watching game videos on his laptop smoking weed and laughing at the same time. It is really some visual! lol And you do wonder if he really applied himself fully, what he could have done!

Ricky was great, but I can't remember that last guy we had that could hit the hole and take 50+ yds to the house like a Chris Johnson. Spiller and Best have that ability. You wouldn't want to use them more than 15-20 rushes, but the 3 back system seems to be more common these days.

I thought Wanny did way back when:

1. Ricky right
2. Ricky left
3. Ricky up-the-middle
