Have to agree with Chris and several others.

1. Zack was a class act and I think we should have kept him (very little down side other than cap hit).

2. Agree also that JT made some very poor choices and IMHO changed his personality from speaking with his play to speaking through the media and became all about himself.

To that end, he sold out the team with his antics and media sparring with Parcells. I'm not even sure he was even sparring but more so using the media and holowood status to force his exit.

3. We could have used the old JT (team guy) who spoke with his play.

Having lost the current version of JT (all about me JT) turned out to be good for Miami, as we got a 2nd and a 7th, and didn't have the negative of a disgruntled vet in the locker room for a distraction.

4. Looking forward one of the new kids will outplay JT in the next 2 years, if JT is still playing.

Bottom line its all good!

It's the difference between being physically capable or mentally capable. We know Crowder has the physical skills to be a very good ILB, but he isn't the intellectual equal of Zach. He doesn't use the best angles. He can't read the play of the offense as quickly and efficiently as Zach. Zach wasn't the biggest or fastest LB, but what made him great was his uncanny ability to anticipate what the other team was going to do..so he could be there waiting when they did it!

Only by wearing the headset and truly being the captain of the defense could we determine if Crowder had that mental ability. He's definitely better than Ayodele (as proven in the KC game), but, at this point, he's not as good as Zach.
