I'm not a fan of trading down. I'd also have to look at some game play links of your boy there. Got any?

we still have soliai i think his name is, he isnt a absolute stud by any stretch of the imagination but he did show potential, and has skill at the position he will be able to get us through for quite some time.

Keep in mind that even Fergy only played on 1st and 2nd down with a different package coming in for the nickle.

We still have the personnel to play a pressure nickle. We are lacking a run stuffing, space eating, multiple player occupying NT. Cody may be that player that fills a need if we can get him @43.

He was a top 10 pick if he had come out last year. I think McClain was so highly rated because he played behind Cody...and I think McC's flaws are being exposed right now....and he will drop unless he runs a sub 4.6 40 and sub 4.4 short shuttle which I highly doubt.

Everyone wants to talk about how he was so fast that he chased down Tebow from behind but it was probably more about angles and the fact that TT only runs a 4.72 without pads.

They could surprise everyone and take a WR at 1 and Cody at 2.

With the addition of KD and their pursuit of a FS...it kind of makes sense.

You draft one of the following in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd round:

Dan Williams, Tenn
Cam Thomas, NC
Torell Troupe, S.FLA

As a UCF alumn I have to correct you. Torell Troup played for UCF not USF.

Soliai has the physical attributes to be a dominant NT in this league. he has the speed, and the size, and the lower base muscle.

He has yet to turn his motor up to full speed and keep it there all game long.

Vince Wilfork is always looking to make a play...even when the play is over...he is still looking to hit someone.

Pat Williams has a 'stop me if you can' attitude.

Warren Sapp played like a Safety on the LOS, he was all over the place.

Soliai makes great plays now and then...but mostly he goes out and does his job without the passion that playmakers have.

Can he do it? yes he can. Will he? I wish he would.
