We shouldn't continue stockpiling #2 receivers. We don't need another Brian Hartline, we need a tall, imposing, true #1 receiver to play opposite him. Shipley is a Hartline type of receiver. Hard working, but he's only so tall and only so fast. I would go after Shipley if we didn't already have guys who fit that mold in the form of Hartline and Camarillo
I agree we dont need a bunch of #2 receivers. I think the guy we should look at though is Arrelious Benn. If we can't get a guy like him then we shouldn't draft a WR. We don't need to waste the roster space on one position.

Agreed. I say sign Antonio Bryant and draft Defense in the first 3 rounds!
We need size and speed...Briscoe, Gilyard, Hodge, Williams, Shipley, Lafell, Thomas and Benn are not fast enough although some are really big guys.
Roberts is close but could be taller and bit bigger, Tate is has the speed but he's a bit too short.
Kelton Tindal has the height and the speed but not the weight.
It'll be intresting to see who does what to distinguish themselves at the combine.
I presonally want a guy that fits this general mold 6'1"-6'4", 205-215+ lbs., 4.20-4.45/40. Any slower than that he is just more of what we already have already.

Antonio Bryant is 6'1", 205 lbs, and ran a 4.43 in 2002. I have no idea how fast he is now, but he seems to fit your mold pretty well.
Yeah...i have read that Benn may run in the low 4.3's and same goes for Golden Tate and Demaryius Thomas but he is recovering from a broken foot so may be higher.
Speed means nothing if you can't get separation.
I don't like LaFell because he has a rep for dropping balls. I would steer clear of any WR with that reputation.
