A few things that stood out to me:

-We got Devone Bess for dirt cheap.
-Ronnie Brown becomes a FA if there is a new CBA? Seemed like that info was a little off from things I've read here in the past.
-Are we going to resign Carpenter? I believe we should.
-We got Hartline dirt cheap as well.
-Any news on our TE situation? Are we looking to resign Fasano?

Also, and maybe one of you guys would know, but if there is no CBA and we have an uncapped year. can we cut players without a hit to our cap? Players like Wilson and Porter would be on my list if so.

Wilson won't be cut. You give a guy a HUGE signing bonus then cut him 12 months later. It's just bad business. Even if you think he stinks, with no cap might as well have him stick around since ya paid him anyway.

Porter is gone whether there is a new CBA or not.

Well Ross is in a financial mess right now. And he's upset that he overpaid for the Dolphins when he bought them. So, to sum it up...he ain't George Steinbrenner!!

The Ronnie Brown thing is the exact opposite of what one of the beat writers reported at the end of the season. I forget which one it was, but he reported that without a new CBA, Ronnie is a restricted free agent. And that if they got a new CBA, the $5M option kicked in.

Fasano is looking to break the bank in free agency. He has delusions that he's going to get a big pay day somewhere. But, if there is no new CBA, then he's a restricted free agent, and no team is giving up draft picks to sign Fasano.

A couple things I noticed.

1) Jason Allen's contract becomes very easy to keep. 2010 his salary is just $1.27 Mill; which is perfect for a guy who is a great Special Teamer/nickel/dime/ 3rd CB/ possible FS. Pretty sure he stays.

2) Akin Ayodele in 2010 will be making $3.5 FREAKING MILLION !!!!!! he will be gone unless there is an uncapped year and a shortage of mediocre ILB's.
