boy having a play making ILB really jumps out at you. how good did demeco ryans look? when was the last time we had an ILB make a play BEHIND the LOS? also cushing is a beast, I was wrong about him I didn't want us to take him but now I wish he was ours

our LBs need a serious upgrade. I don't want to diss JT but our D has folded every year he was on it.

Yep! Ever since Zach lost a step we haven't found a viable replacement. ILB MUST be our #1 priority in the draft. I'm not saying we can't draft a WR in the first round if we have our eye on a really good one we can get in the 2nd, but if we have a chance to land someone of Zach's caliber in the first, we BETTER take him. We'll find a WR in free agency eventually. Good ILBs aren't so easy to find.

ILB is a must but a speed pass rusher would not only allow us to get pressure on the QB without blitzing but would make our HORRIBLE secondary look better.

OLB over ILB in my opinon

I still think Anderson and Wake can be good with more seasoning and a real chance to start!! Porter needs to go, and JT needs to be relegated to a backup role. On the other hand, if we can't tackle inside or cover TE's, how are we supposed to win games? With the exit of Ferguson, the middle of our defense will just be getting weaker, putting even more pressure on the ILBs.

As for our secondary, our problem is at FS only. Bell is decent at SS, and we're fairly talented at CB. Remember, Will Allen comes back next year. Add in Davis, Smith, and Nate Jones, and you have quite a package of CBs. Problem is, if they're constantly left on islands with no FS help, they WILL get beat on occasion. Even Deonne Sanders

Wake....maybe

Anderson....NO. He's been on a couple teams, what you see out of him is what you get. Journeymen type player

And Bell isn't decent he has had a horrible year as well. Just not as bad as Wilson's so it gets overlooked some

Does anyone know the list of LBs and NTs that are scheduled to be free agents this off-season.

Need him at corner. Smith and Davis aren't lighting the world on fire

Well, our LB corps will look totally revamped when we pick Rolando McClain & Sergio Kindle in the draft next year.
