Date: December 11, 2009 09:49AM Although Garrard will occasionally run the ball, he's far from mobile. His size (6'1" and 240lbs) creates problems for db's and even linebackers if they have to tackle him in the open field.
I watched him in every home college game he played. The guy used to shrug defensive linemen off like he was already in a different league. Not that he can do that at this level but he's still very strong and has a cannon for an arm. That said, he's not the smartest qb out there and is known to make bad throws and reads. If we're going to beat Jacksonville, Jones-Drew is the one we need to stop. If they have to rely on Garrard because they can't run the ball, we win! Re: Mike Simms-Walker
