I was just thinking the same thing. I was watching the Pitt-KC game. Chambers won it for them in OT.

Denver is going the wrong direction. I wouldn't be shocked if they missed the playoffs altogether. Pitt's been inconsistent. We still have games against Jacksonville and Houston, and I think we'll win both.

That said, I think the WC race will be between Baltimore, Pitt, and Miami! I like our chances!

I think our chances of the wildcard took a HUGE turn upward today with the shocking win of KC over Pitt. Never saw that coming.

The Jets are eliminated now too. And Baltimore/Pitt are screwed now too because they got to play each other twice. As MIAMI fans we gotta hope for one team to sweep. That would probably put one team IN the playoffs, but it knocks the other out. And right now we want to see teams knocked out. If they split that kinda hurts us I think.

Denver is taking their now usual late season swoon, And they still got Giants, Indy, and Philly left. Not good for them!!

The odds of a 9-7 team getting in got a lot better today.

Pittsburgh 6-4, still plays Baltimore twice, Green Bay, and Miami. And I'll throw in Cleveland as a team that could upset them because of Josh Cribbs, and the fact that Pittsburgh has already allowed 8 kick return TDs this season.

Denver 6-4, reeling, still has the Giants, Indy, Philly, and 3 division games (2 against KC, 1 Oak).

Jacksonville 6-4, has SF, Houston, Miami, Indy, and NE.

Houston 5-4, has the hot Tennessee tomorrow, Indy, Jacksonville, Miami, and NE.

Baltimore 5-5, Pittsburgh twice, Green Bay, and Chicago.

The wildcard teams play a bunch of games against each other. As long as we take care of business against Buffalo, we'll have a very good chance of controlling our own destiny, even with another loss to the Pats.

To expand just a little from another thread.

Back in the day, we fans used to look forward to playing the best teams out there. The Phins always took a hit from the press because of a weak division/schedule. It was never about hoping the other guys would lose. That never mattered because they would all have to get by the Phins anyway.

Those days are long gone, but here's hoping they will be back soon. Another good draft and a few pickups.....

Dam I loved last weeks game. Keep it rolling!!smileys with beer
